The words were sealed until the end time (aka last days). The last days commenced as of the appearance of John the Baptist preaching: repent because the kingdom of God is coming. The message was no more, repent or wrath, but a new thing:
Isaiah 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass and new things do I declare. Before they spring forth, I will tell you of them
Before the new message sprang forth: repent because the kingdom of God is coming, it was foretold that it shall no more be 'repent or wrath':
Isaiah 42:3 A bruised reed [evil people] he shall not break, and the smoking flax [evil people] he shall not quench, until he sends forth judgment unto truth [victory]
The sealed words were revealed by the Son of God in John's Book of Revelation. When Daniel was told that the power of the holy people shall be scattered and that the reign of one to come shall be for a time and times and a half, Daniel had no idea what all of that meant. But the Son of God explained it all in John's Book of Revelation:
Daniel 12:7-10 ... it shall be for a time and times and a half and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all of these things shall be finished. And I [Daniel] heard but understood not ... Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end [aka last days] ... none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand
The wicked are the Christians who do read the words that were sealed until the last days, and then unsealed by the Son of God and revealed in John's Book of Revelation. To prove the wicked Christians do not understand:
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who do God's commandments that they may have the right to eat of the fruit of the tree of life and enter the city through the gates
If the wicked Christians understood the Son of God, they would run from Pharisee Paul:
Romans 6:14 You are not under the law, you are under grace
Being that the wicked Christians cannot understand the Son of God in the simple matter of how he instructs us to live in this world, how shall they understand the prophecies of the Son of God in the Book of Revelation and elsewhere? And they do not understand the prophecies of the Son of God revealed in the last days, they are among the wicked who do not understand as foretold in Daniel.
Again, since the wicked Christians do not understand the Son of God in the simple matter of how we are to conduct ourselves on this earth, then it is impossible that they could understand the prophecies of the Son of God. If they understood the simple command of the Son of God to keep God's commandments, the wicked Christians would reject Paul as being a false apostle for preaching against the Son of God, stating we are to conduct ourselves on this earth by rejecting the law of God and obeying Paul's grace doctrine (Romans 6:14). The wicked Christians do not understand the prophecies of the Son of God in John's Book of Revelation.
